Sean Kelley began his law enforcement career in 1999, and has been a member of the Major Collision Investigation Team at a large police agency since 2012. Sean became ACTAR certified in 2017, and recertified in 2022. In his decades as a police officer, Sean has worked towards building a career that is not only focused on accident reconstruction, but on other areas that have provided him ample experience with in-depth investigations and offering court testimony.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in 1995. He worked as a police officer in Texas for 9.5 years, and achieved the rank of sergeant at his department. In 2008, Sean moved to Oregon and began working at the Eugene Police Department. During his time at EPD, Sean has been a member of specialized units to include the Downtown Summer Bikes Team, the Peer Support Team, the Union E-Board, and he was a Field Training Officer. Sean is currently assigned as a detective in the Violent Crimes Unit. His career focus on investigations, both in Major Collisions and in Violent Crimes, makes Sean an amazing asset for crash reconstruction cases. His experience with investigating, documenting, and testifying in cases is beyond compare.

When Sean isn’t busy examining cases, he can be found spending time with his wife, Robyn. The couple enjoys traveling, camping, and hanging out with their multiple cats and dogs. Sean has a passion for pets, and he donates his off time volunteering for the local humane society.
